Madison Maidenberg is a proud Colorado native and a passionate advocate for the blind and low-vision community. Diagnosed at age 21 with the recessive form of retinitis pigmentosa—a rare genetic condition with no family history—Madison found both answers and community through the Foundation Fighting Blindness. After receiving her genetic testing through the Foundation, she became deeply committed to its mission.

Driven by purpose and connection, Madison joined the Colorado chapter and has served as Vice President for the past two years. During that time, she also led as Auction Chair for the Foundation’s largest golf event, helping raise $590,000 to fund cutting-edge research and resources.

Professionally, Madison works in tech as a UX/UI Designer, bringing creativity, empathy, and thoughtful problem-solving to her career and advocacy work.
