Introduction
The Foundation Fighting Blindness Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is a distinguished group of approximately 60 of the world’s leading retinal disease researchers who guide the Foundation’s scientific activities. Led by a chair and supported by vice-chairs, our members are recognized for their significant achievements in retinal degeneration research. They hold esteemed academic positions and are known for their objectivity and dedication to the Foundation’s goals.

Bias Mitigation in Peer Review Training for Reviewers – developed by the Health Research Alliance, the Bias Mitigation in Peer Review Training for Reviewers will define bias, discuss how bias can occur and present during peer review, and outline strategies that can mitigate the impact of bias on decision making. This self-paced training will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
