Brand Ambassadors

Jeanette Hanscome is a multi-published author and conference speaker from the California Bay Area. Born with Achromatopsia at a time when little was known about her eye condition, she was the first visually impaired student at almost every school she attended. After decades of feeling like she didn’t fit into either the blind or the sighted community, she now enjoys sharing her unique perspective through writing, both fiction and nonfiction, social media, and black and white art and photography.
Teaching at international writing seminars has allowed Jeanette to share her adventures as a visually impaired woman flying alone. A creative to her core, she fills her spare time with art, travel, playing ukulele (she picked it up during the pandemic), knitting, crocheting, and singing with a local chorus.
