Madison Maidenberg is a Colorado-based advocate, creative, and reality television personality living with retinitis pigmentosa (RP), a progressive inherited retinal disease. Diagnosed at a young age, Madison has spent much of her life learning how to navigate a world that isn’t always designed with vision loss in mind, while refusing to let her diagnosis define the boundaries of her life.
Madison serves as President of the Foundation Fighting Blindness Colorado Chapter and as a Brand Ambassador for the Foundation, using her platform to raise awareness, build community, and advocate for those living with retinal diseases.
In 2025, Madison appeared on Netflix’s Love Is Blind, where she chose to openly share her experience with RP with both her partner and millions of viewers. The experience brought conversations about progressive vision loss, vulnerability, independence, dating, and an uncertain future to an audience that may never have encountered them otherwise.
Through advocacy, storytelling, and her everyday life, Madison shares an honest perspective on navigating vision loss: the challenges, the humor, the fear, and the unexpected ways it has shaped her confidence, resilience, relationships, and the way she moves through the world.
