Los Angeles Chapter Speaker Event "Traveling Blind"

Join the Los Angeles Chapter for a virtual speaker event, “Traveling Blind” presented by Ally Echevarria from Mind’s Eye Travel who will discuss traveling for the visually impaired.

Mind’s Eye Travel was launched in 2008 by Sue Bramhall to address a challenge she was facing herself. Her retinitis pigmentosa (RP) had advanced to the point where she could no longer travel independently and comfortably. Mind’s Eye Travel creates meaningful, accessible travel and designs adventures for the visually impaired. Their service includes experience sighted guides who accompany each tour as needed.

Leader Ally Echevarria, the most experienced and best-traveled sighted guide at Mind’s Eye, will provide a presentation about the Mind’s Eye travel experience, upcoming trips, and tips and suggestions for making travel more manageable and practical.
