The Foundation Fighting Blindness invites you and your family members to the Foundation’s Los Angeles chapter’s upcoming free “Disaster Preparedness for the Visually Impaired” speaker presentation.

The presentation will feature representatives from the Red Cross to discuss disaster preparedness for people with vision loss as well as sighted individuals.  During the presentation, the speakers will review key concepts and items that help families prepare for disasters in general and wildfires both of which are critically important for personal and community safety.

The Foundation and Los Angeles chapter’s leadership team encourages you to forward this message to anyone you know who would be interested in attending this no cost event.  Additionally, nobody will be asked to make a donation or purchase anything to participate in this gathering.  We welcome you, your spouse, significant other, family and friends to become a part of the Foundation’s chapter community.  The Foundation wants everyone to know that nobody is alone in the fight against blindness.
