The Los Angeles Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness is partnering with Guide Dogs of America/Tender Loving Canines for a free in-person event, “Walking in a Visually Impaired Person’s Shoes.”

The presentation will bring people from both sides of visual impairment together to better understand life with sight loss through interactive, hands-on experiences. Sighted attendees will have the opportunity to explore what low vision and blindness can be like, while participants who are visually impaired will share their insights, strategies and personal experiences.

The Foundation and Los Angeles chapter’s leadership team encourages you to forward this message to anyone you know who would be interested in attending this no cost event.  Additionally, nobody will be asked to make a donation or purchase anything to participate in this gathering.  We welcome you, your spouse, significant other, family and friends to become a part of the Foundation’s chapter community.  The Foundation wants everyone to know that nobody is alone in the fight against blindness.
