Baltimore Chapter Joins Achilles International Saturday Exercise

We are excited to announce a special collaborative event with Achilles International, offering our Baltimore community a morning of inspiration, connection, and movement. Join us for a program where we highlight our shared missions and then participate in an inclusive, guided exercise session.
Meeting Point – please note the separate meeting instructions to ensure a smooth start to the day:
- For General Attendees: Please meet at the Julie Community Center (100 S Washington Street).
- For Those Familiar with the Park: You may proceed directly to the fountain near the corner of E Lombard Street and S. Patterson Park Avenue.
Program Outline
- 10:00 a.m. – organization overviews
The morning begins with a short joint program led by Achilles International and Foundation Fighting Blindness. This session will provide an overview of each organization’s activities and mission. - Immediately following – the Achilles workout
- After the brief program, Foundation Fighting Blindness members are invited to join the Achilles International team for their weekend exercise routine. Achilles is dedicated to empowering the disability community to cross the finish line! At their weekly workouts, you are welcome to walk, run, or roll at a distance and pace that suits you. Volunteer sighted guides will be provided to assist you every step of the way.
