Over the next five years, our focus is to raise awareness of our science initiatives, both within and outside the Foundation, particularly around our research portfolio. Ensuring staff and the Board fully understand and can confidently communicate our mission and this plan will inspire greater passion for our work. We will also maintain updated science landscapes for retinal diseases to quickly identify emerging gaps and advances.

The urgent mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness is to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration, Usher syndrome and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.
