Join us for an inspiring afternoon as we launch the 2026 Tampa VisionWalk season. Connect with individuals living with blinding retinal diseases, families, eye care professionals, community partners, and advocates from across the Tampa Bay area. Complimentary food and refreshments will be available to attendees.


FEATURED PANEL DISCUSSION
Beyond Vision: Resources That Empower Everyday Living

  • Dr. Alfred White – Retina specialist and ophthalmic surgeon serving the Tampa Bay region. Dr. White completed his medical training at Emory University, residency at the University of South Florida, and a retinal surgery fellowship at LSU Health Sciences Center. He is also involved in clinical research focused on retinal diseases.
  • Bob Schrepfer — Owner of The Magnification Company & Low Vision Technology Center. With more than 35 years of experience, Bob helps individuals maintain independence through low-vision technology, including electronic magnification, text-to-speech devices, and AI-powered assistive tools.
  • Ross Silvers — ADA & Community Relations Officer for Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA). Legally blind since childhood, Ross combines personal experience and professional expertise to advocate for accessible transportation, independence, and community inclusion.
