Orange County Chapter Meeting on Red Cross Preparedness

Virtual“Be Red Cross Ready – Preparedness for People with Access and Functional Needs” teaches audiences how to prepare for anticipated challenges during a disaster. The session will cover emergency kits, evacuation planning, health maintenance during disasters, pet preparedness, and more. Participants will learn about resources, tips, and tools to protect themselves and their households.
The last 30 minutes of the meeting will be dedicated to a collaborative Q&A sssion where our OC Chapter VP, Shana, will join the Red Cross team to answer your questions from both a technical preparedness standpoint and a lived-experience perspective regarding vision loss. Shana will also share her own personal preparedness journey, practical steps she has taken, and related resources and tools.
