John Mandeville, MD, PhD
Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston
Topic: Understanding Thyroid Eye Disease (TED)
Dr. Mandeville is a distinguished ophthalmologist specializing in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. An MIT alumnus, he earned his MD and PhD from Columbia University. He completed his residency at UCLA, followed by a prestigious two-year fellowship at the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His practice centers on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, brows, tear ducts, and orbits. In addition, Dr. Mandeville specializes in the treatment of thyroid eye disease (TED) and participates in several clinical trials for new medical therapies for TED.
Jean Bousquet
Rhode Island State Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired
Jean Bousquet is a Certified Orientation and Mobility Instructor at Rhode Island State Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired. She is responsible for teaching members of the blind community to travel independently and regain their confidence so they can continue pursuing their goals. Additionally, she provides outreach, training, and education to the blind community, with a focus on how to interact with and respect its members effectively.
