The Boston Chapter is excited to share that the Foundation Fighting Blindness has been selected to participate in the Prudential Center’s “31 Nights of Light” event. This annual tradition takes place at the Prudential Center in Boston, where the tower is lit a different color each night in December to spotlight a participating nonprofit organization.

On December 29th, the Prudential building will shine in the Foundation’s signature colors, teal and blue, to raise awareness of the 10+ million people in the U.S. affected by blinding retinal diseases.

In addition to illuminating the Prudential, we’ve been given a special honor to flip the switch that lights Boston’s skyline that evening. A member of our New England community will be chosen to illuminate the city at a special event at the Prudential Center on December 29 at 5:00 p.m., symbolizing the progress, hope, and urgency of our mission to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments, and cures for the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.

How to Be Part of this Moment: Anyone who donates $100 or more to the Boston VisionWalk between November 10 and December 12, 2025, will have a chance to be one of the 20 attendees invited as a guest of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Those who donate $250 or more will be entered for the chance to flip the switch and light the iconic Prudential Tower in our signature blue and teal colors.

This is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to support the Foundation’s mission while being part of the history of this iconic Boston landmark!
