Join the Foundation Fighting Blindness Orange County Chapter for an uplifting panel-style session focused on the power of resilience. This May, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, our leadership team moves from behind the scenes to the microphone to share their personal lived experiences with vision loss.

This dynamic discussion features Marissa Hirt (President), Shana Kassel (Vice President), and Jess Avila (Community Engagement Chair) as they explore how a positive mindset and the right resources can transform the journey.

We are moving beyond the diagnosis to share our “Shared Toolbox"—the tech, training, and support networks that help our community thrive. The session will conclude with a live Q&A, offering a space to anchor in empowerment and connect through our collective strength.
