Please join the Los Angeles Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness for a special virtual presentation entitled “Inherited Retinal Disease in the Clinic and the Lab” with featured speaker Kent W. Small, MD! Dr. Small has a solo private practice specializing in Retina care in Los Angeles (Cedars-Sinai) and Glendale. He has over 30 years of research and clinical experience. He was the first to map macular degeneration in the Human Genome Project. He has found mutations in North Carolina Macular Dystrophy (MCDR1), Cone-rod Dystrophy, Enhanced S-Cone, Reis-Buckler Corneal Dystrophy, Blepharophimosis Syndrome, and Reigers Syndrome. He has over 200 peer reviewed scientific publications and over 15 years of Foundation Fighting Blindness support.
