For the past 18 years, I have lived with hope and no longer with fear that my brother, cousin, and son may have to lose their sight entirely due to sight-saving research supported by the Foundation. Our family is coast to coast. My involvement with our Jacksonville Area Chapter and Dr. Sandeep Grover is a blessing. It provides education and support for us, allows us to support others, and has been the extended family that truly understands day-to-day challenges…and is always there for us and others. It is sometimes hard to take a step to reach out. Once you do, you will never feel alone and misunderstood again. We are here. We truly care.
