The Eastern Michigan Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness is thrilled to partner with Leader Dogs for the Blind for our spring speaker series event. Learn about the process of considering using a dog as a guide, the application and training process, and what happens upon acceptance into the program. In addition to this presentation there will be a tour of the Leader Dogs campus.

Leader Dogs for the Blind is a nonprofit organization providing people who are blind or visually impaired with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel using a guide dog or a white cane. Leader Dogs offers free orientation and mobility training, guide dog training and a teen summer camp.
