This unprecedented aviation journey will culminate in Minneapolis on June 17th at the “Soaring to New Heights & Sights” event.

Inspired by Jim’s Journey, middle school STEM students from Minneapolis Public Schools will compete in developing innovative ideas for products, services or policy for social good, such as reducing food waste, slowing climate change, helping those in need, increasing accessibility for the blind and more.  Thirty teams of five students each are competing in this comprehensive design challenge. Three winning teams will be selected in May, and will receive the “Soaring to New Heights & Sights Award” on June 17, 2020 in the Premier Jet Center private hangar at Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie.
